Xiaomi will launch two of their newest mobile devices namely Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro in Indonesia today Wednesday (9/6) afternoon.
The two devices have previously been introduced in their home countries, China in May 2020 then followed in India. On the global scene, the Redmi Note 9 is priced starting at US $ 199 or around Ro3 million. While the Redmi Note 9 Pro is valued starting at US $ 269.
The specifications of the Redmi Note 9 and Note 9 Pro that enter Indonesia are predicted to not change much.
Redmi Note 9
This phone carries a 6.53-inch IPS screen with FHD + resolution and a punch-hole screen in the upper left corner to place a selfie camera.
On the rear body, there is a Samsung GM1 48MP main camera sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP depth and a fingerprint scanner, as reported by GSMArena.
Turning to the kitchen runway, Redmi Note 9 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset consisting of an octa-core CPU and GPU Mali-G52 combined with two variants of 3GB RAM 64GB RAM and 4GB RAM 128GB RAM.
Besides that the battery capacity offered is 5020 mAh with fast charging 18 watts. The phone has adopted Android 10 and carries an IR blaster (infrared), headphone jack, and NFC.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
Switching to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the phone also carries a 6.67 inch IPS screen with a FHD + screen resolution.
The phone is equipped with a main camera sensor of 64MP, ultra-wide lens 8MP 119 degrees FoV, 5MP macro camera, and 2MP depth. Redmi Note 9 Pro also supports RAW photography and improved night mode.

On the runway kitchen, the Redmi Note 9 Pro is supported by Qualcomm’s brand-new processor, the Snapdragon 720G 8nm and combined with two memory variants namely 6GB RAM 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM 128GB ROM.
The cellphone battery capacity is the same as the Redmi Note 9, both are powered by 5,020 mAh but this phone is supported by 33 watts of fast charging.
