Already get the most surprising portion of news for you to read today? Who would have thought that the news would come from one of the biggest franchises in the world – Pokemon?
As we know, after success that never fails to cling to its name, Pokemon does look so active to release new products outside of the main series that are successful on the Nintendo Switch.
After the announcement of Pokemon Snap the other day, have you ever imagined a DOTA game with characters from Pokemon? Believe it or not, this is what they do.
In collaboration with Tencent, The Pokemon Company has just announced their latest game called Pokemon Unite! Not a game of animal care and monsters fighting like the original series or portrait actions like Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Unite is a MOBA 5 vs 5 game aimed at mobile devices and switches.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, MOBA is a genre that adheres to typical DOTA or League of Legends style gameplay. This means you will meet with monsters that will experience evolution when leveling up and a variety of skills to contribute to the battle.
Pokemon Unite will be distributed in a free to play format for Nintendo Switch and Mobile, but has not received details about what monetization system will be carried. What do you think? Look interesting?
